- if that's the case, you can telnet normally to your unix machine and then
- tn3270 from the unix machine. :)

- hmmm...for name server, use NCSA Telnet or some other DOS telnet that will
- give you the name or the IP address of the nameserver. If you have a Unix
- nslookup command, that works very well as well.

- domain suffix. if you set a domain suffix of Virginia.EDU then from now on
- you'll only have to type faraday.clas for the machine you wish to telnet
- to. but this works for all your virginia.edu machines.

- Netmanage supports only a Telnet client. And WIndows NT/AS does not directly
- support a telnet "host". I am fairly sure Michael Williams is right that there
